Organizational Development Specialist, Engagement & Inclusion

The Organizational Development Specialist supports the execution of Day & Ross’s enterprise talent strategy by delivering programs and initiatives across organizational development, learning, engagement, and inclusion. Reporting to the Manager, Organizational Development, this role partners with HR and business leaders to implement scalable solutions that enhance leadership capability, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness.
As part of a collaborative OD team, the Specialist contributes to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of talent programs, while also bringing focused expertise in a key priority area.
How You’ll Help
- Support the implementation of enterprise talent and organizational development initiatives, aligning programs with business priorities and organizational goals.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of learning and leadership development programs, including coordination, facilitation support, and content development.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to support organizational development initiatives that improve team effectiveness and employee experience.
- Support change initiatives by applying structured change management tools and approaches to enable adoption and minimize disruption.
- Contribute to inclusion and belonging initiatives by integrating inclusive practices into programs, communications, and employee experiences.
- Coordinate and administer OD programs, including tracking participation, maintaining records, and ensuring completion of compliance training requirements.
- Support the development of program materials, communications, and resources to enable leaders and employees.
- Assist in the execution of employee engagement initiatives, including supporting the Our Voice survey, analyzing results, and helping drive action planning.
- Track and report on key metrics to measure program effectiveness, using data to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate across the OD team and broader HR function to ensure alignment, consistency, and quality in program delivery.
- Ensure all activities align with organizational policies, governance, and compliance requirements.
Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as required in support of organizational development priorities.
Support the design and sustainment of employee engagement programs and initiatives, including action planning, leader enablement, and ongoing activities, while advancing inclusion and belonging efforts to foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace
Your Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 3–5 years of experience in HR, organizational development, learning, or a related field.
- Experience supporting the delivery of programs related to learning, engagement, change, or organizational development.
- Experience working in a corporate or multi-site environment; transportation, supply chain, or manufacturing experience considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR and business teams.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and support insights-driven recommendations.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems or learning platforms considered an asset.
- Demonstrated interest in organizational development, employee experience, and culture.
- English Required.
