TMC Manufacturing Company, Inc., along with its subsidiary TMC2 (1218146 BC Ltd) is a scientific material supplier based in North Vancouver, BC that produces key components for medical diagnostic and therapeutic applications. The company is currently expanding its facilities, having developed proprietary technology to produce ultra-purified materials used to produce cutting edge cancer detection and treatment.

Responsibilities
- Assists in the assembly of machine components
- Performs preventative and active maintenance on machine equipment including disassembly, cleaning, reassembly and calibration
- Trains to operate machinery
- Builds and installs machine components
- Liaises with suppliers to order components and materials
- Cleans and tidies work areas and shared spaces
- Assists with IT tasks
- Assists with smooth running of company, performing duties on an as needed basis

No travel required. This position is not suited for remote work or home office. All successful candidates will be required to agree to and sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) prior to employment.

Qualifications
Education The ideal candidate will have a background in the physical sciences with some knowledge of chemistry and physics, but most importantly, a willingness to learn.
Technical/hard skills:
o Working knowledge of hand, power and electrical testing tools
o PLC Programming: experience with ladder logic would be an asset but is not required.
Computer skills: Strong computer application skills, including Word and Excel. Knowledge and experience with SolidWorks is an asset but is not required.
Teamwork: ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
Working Hours: We operate on 8hrs per day rotational shift schedule options (Monday-Friday/Tuesday-Saturday/Wednesday-Sunday/Thursday-Sunday) with a $2/hour pay bump for working a weekend shift.
