Established in 1986, Alternative Programs for Youth and Families Inc (APFYF) is growing again.
The Nest Program offers a home for four participants who are youth (under 21 yrs-non gender specific) and DSP eligible. The program offers participants care, skill development, behaviour support, advocacy and community collaboration in a warm and inviting home environment. All of our services are client driven, trauma informed.
We are searching for experienced, skilled and engaged Child and Youth Care Practitioners to join our current teams at The Nest. 2 years' experience and knowledge of varying disabilities is an asset. Applicants must possess, relevant training/education, an up-to-date criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and child abuse registry check. Must have a valid driver’s license, carry $200,000 liability insurance, and have a completed driver’s abstract.
