An Extrusion Machine Operator must be someone who:

The position is a 12hr rotating shift 7am - 7pm and 7pm-7am (2days work - 2 days off, 3 days work- 2 days off, 2days work- 3days off- day & night after 2 weeks ) and so applicants will require their own means of transportation.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:
- Packaging the parts at the end of the line and making pallets.
- Material handling, shop organization, scrap handling, loading / unloading of materials and box making.
- Maintain inventory of material and clean working area
- Prep the dies, cleaning the manifolds, screw cleaning, line setup with downstream equipment.
- Set up and operate one or more extruding machines which extrude plastic composites products through a nozzle or die.
- Change dies on extruding machines according to production line change.
- Shift data recording, reporting of breakdowns, troubleshoot, maintain and make minor repairs to equipment.
- QC inspection of parts per drawing standards and recording the results.
- Monitor quality of material produced.
EXPECTATIONS
You are:
- Able to work a 12hr/day rotating shift (this is a 24-hour, 7-day a week operation)
- Possess good math skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50lbs
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Experience working in an industrial / manufacturing environment
- Desire to learn new skills and take part in our training programs
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 – 42.0 per week
