Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead our dynamic hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service, food quality, and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of front of house preparation, service, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
- Oversee daily shift operations, including managing staff schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours.
- Train and develop team members on food safety protocols, customer service excellence, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and food handling procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly; control stock through accurate ordering, storage practices, and waste reduction strategies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; reconcile daily cash drawers and prepare reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards; conduct routine cleanliness checks in kitchens and dining areas.
- Lead staff meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and promote a positive team environment focused on hospitality excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or management experience within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Silverware POS is an asset
- Background in food safety standards; certification in Serve safe or equivalent preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor.
- Experience in catering, banquet service, or hotel food & beverage operations is highly desirable.
