We are seeking an experienced SEO & E-Commerce Optimization Specialist to join a growing online retail organization. This hands-on role is ideal for a technically strong SEO professional who enjoys identifying opportunities, implementing solutions, and driving measurable growth in organic traffic and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical SEO initiatives to improve crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and search visibility.
- Optimize category, product, and content pages for organic performance.
- Implement SEO enhancements directly within Shopify themes and templates.
- Manage structured data, metadata, redirects, internal linking, and keyword mapping.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and recommend actionable improvements.
- Monitor website performance and collaborate on Core Web Vitals enhancements.
- Analyze performance data and identify opportunities for traffic and revenue growth.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website updates and content initiatives.
- Stay current on search engine developments, AI-driven search trends, and evolving SEO best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of SEO experience, preferably within e-commerce.
- Strong technical SEO expertise, including site architecture, crawl/indexation, structured data, and internal linking.
- Hands-on Shopify experience required.
- Working knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual English/French is considered a strong asset.
