Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and organized Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of dental office procedures. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining a high standard of patient care. The Dental Office Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing office efficiency and fostering a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily office activities, including scheduling, billing, and patient records management
- Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Manage electronic medical records systems, including Tracker and other dental software platforms
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with legal standards
- Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and inventory control to ensure the practice’s operational efficiency
- Support patient relations by addressing concerns, scheduling appointments, and ensuring excellent customer service
- Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth operations between administrative and clinical teams
- Implement policies and procedures to improve workflow and patient experience
Experience
- Proven experience managing a dental office or medical practice is required
- Strong background in dental office procedures, including familiarity with Tracker and electronic medical records systems
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience in healthcare settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology, hospital experience, nursing, or acute care experience is a plus
- Experience in human resources management, including hiring and staff development
- Background in budgeting, financial management, or administrative leadership within healthcare environments is preferred

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
