As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing the transportation of goods in the oilfield sector. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently dispatch trucks and drivers for oilfield transportation operations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries of goods.
- Monitor and track vehicle movements using GPS systems, maintaining real-time awareness of the fleet's location and status.
- Collaborate with drivers, field operators, and clients to plan and schedule transportation routes.
- Address and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the transportation process.
- Coordinate and communicate with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure dispatch system and driver schedule is up to date
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
-Ensure all driver safety records, TDG and Hours of Service compliance is up to date.
-Assist in training and onboarding new drivers
-Make sure all paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely fashion.
-Maintain accurate records and documentation, including daily dispatch tracking and shift crossover notes.
-Follow up with customers and seek feedback on performance, implement changes where necessary.
-Prospect for new business and assist in managing existing customer base.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dispatcher in the oilfield trucking industry is preferred.
-Proficiency in computers.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and dispatch software.
- Excellent problem solver, team player and work well with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and transportation laws.
- Availability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or related fields are a plus.
