What You'll Be Doing
Every day brings something different! Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting CNC Operators
- Deburring and assembling parts
- Operating basic hand and pneumatic tools
- Using grinders and other production equipment
- Measuring parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Completing a variety of production tasks while maintaining quality standards
- Cross training for CNC operator advancement
What We're Looking For
We're interested in candidates who have:
- A positive attitude and excellent attendance
- Want to advance their skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
- Experience in a metal manufacturing or production environment (an asset, but not required)
- The ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments
- Blueprint reading skills (an asset)
- Basic math aptitude
- Basic excel skills
- Good written and spoken English for understanding work instructions and documentation
- The ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- The ability to lift at least 30 lbs
- Reliable transportation (we are not located on a convenient public transit route)
Currently Hiring
Days: Monday to Friday ( 7 am -3:30 pm)
Evening: Sunday to Thursday (3 pm - 11:30 pm) - includes additional shift premium
Overnight: Sunday to Thursday ( 11 pm - 7:30 am )- includes additional shift premium
