Window Estimator – High Rise Division
Location: 81 Royal Group Crescent, Woodbridge, ON
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
Newmar Window Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Window Wall Estimator to join our High-Rise Division. In this role you will act as a quantity surveyor and provide in-depth reviews of the projects that you are assigned. This is an active vacancy within our team. The role requires direct, hands-on experience with window wall and architectural glazing systems. General estimating experience alone will not be considered; candidates must have specific experience estimating window wall systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project tender documents including but not limited to architectural drawings, project specifications, scope or work, thermal reports and acoustic reports
- Perform detailed material quantity take-offs and accurately interpret construction drawings
- Prepare requests for quotes from external vendors if and when required
- Support estimating activities using Revu (Bluebeam) and Microsoft Excel
- Communicate effectively with internal teams
- Report directly to the Estimation Manager, High Rise Division
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of estimating experience within the window wall or architectural glazing industry (required)
- Strong understanding of window wall components, installation methods, and industry terminology
- Strong proficiency in Revu (Bluebeam) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, including precise calculations and take-offs
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, focused, and able to work independently
- Reasonable understanding of high-rise glazing codes and standards.
- Moderate understanding of building systems
- Strong reading, written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
