McDougall Auctioneers is seeking a dedicated, versatile team member for an Operations Manager to join our team at our Mississauga location. This hands-on role supports both on-site and off-site auction operations, including setup, equipment operation, and customer interaction. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
Job Description:
· Work under the supervision of the of the VP of Operations to coordinate auction setup and operations.
· Efficiently load and unload trucks and other vehicles.
· Operate equipment such as skid steer, electric forklift, shunt truck and large outdoor forklift with precision.
· Execute picturing, setups, organizing, and uploading pictures onto the computer.
· Write detailed lot descriptions and assist customers in viewing sale items during designated viewing days and post-sale.
· Maintain high attention to detail in all tasks while exercising proper material handling techniques.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education preferred.
· Valid driver’s license required.
· Must be fluent in English.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Basic computer knowledge is required.
· Experience operating skid steer, forklift, shunt truck and other equipment is an asset.
Salary and Benefits:
· Full-time, Monday – Friday with some evenings
· Hourly: $28 - $36 per hour

Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada. As a full-time employee, you will be eligible to participate in the McDougall Auctioneers Ltd. group benefit and pension plan following the successful completion of a three-month assessment period.
