Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and skilled Iron Workers and Welders to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing teams. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining structural steel frameworks, ductwork, and various metal components with precision and safety in mind. Your expertise in welding techniques, mechanical knowledge, and blueprint reading will be essential to ensure high-quality craftsmanship on diverse projects. Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble and install steel structures, ductwork, or machinery components.
- Perform welding using (SMAW), (FCAW), and torch cutting.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, AWP’s, forklifts, and other machinery safely to facilitate assembly and installation tasks.
- basic math skills, and schematics to measure materials accurately and ensure proper fitment during fabrication.
- Rigging heavy components with cranes or mechanical devices for lifting, positioning, and securing materials during construction or manufacturing processes.
- Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously while working at heights, compliance with all safety regulations.
- Assist in machining tasks or assembly of complex systems involving structural steel elements as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or manufacturing environments working with steel structures, or similar metal assemblies.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques including SMAW, and FACW, welding; certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for precise fabrication and installation.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience operating cranes, forklifts, power tools, hand tools.
- Prior experience with rigging procedures using cranes or mechanical lifting devices.
- Knowledge of schematics related to mechanical systems or ductwork is advantageous.

Pay: $26.02-$48.16 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
