Chiropractic Office Receptionist – Duties & Responsibilities
Front Desk & Patient Interaction
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming environment.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage other communication channels.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
- Check patients in and out, ensuring accurate information is collected.
- Assist new patients with intake forms and explain office policies/procedures.
- Provide basic information about chiropractic services and office offerings.
Administrative & Office Support
- Maintain and update patient records in practice management software.
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries.
- Collect payments, process transactions, and provide receipts.
- Monitor and manage the reception area to keep it clean and organized.
- Coordinate with chiropractors and staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Prepare daily reports (appointments, collections, cancellations).
Customer Service & Patient Care
- Handle patient questions and concerns with professionalism.
- Send appointment reminders via phone, text, or email.
- Follow up with patients regarding missed appointments or re-care scheduling.
- Support marketing initiatives such as newsletters, social media updates, or community events.
Other Duties as Needed
- Assist with filing, scanning, and maintaining office supplies.
- Support special projects or office events as assigned.
- Experience with MRX scheduling software is an asset.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
