We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic educator to join the team at J.C. Charyk Hanna School. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to provide balanced advocacy for students, staff, and parents. A proven capacity to motivate and inspire both students and staff toward high levels of achievement, while fostering a respectful, orderly, and purposeful school environment, is essential.
This position includes secondary Social Studies teaching responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Social Studies curriculum delivery, including the ability to support critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and student engagement in complex social, historical, and global issues. Preference will be given to candidates who can contribute to the broader development of literacy and numeracy across all subject areas, including Social Studies programming.
This is a full time assignment combining part time teaching and part time administrative responsibilities to commence the first day of the 2026-2027 school year. An administrative allowance is provided in recognition of the leadership component of the role. Preference will be given to an individual who holds a Master's degree or is actively working toward one, and who also has demonstrated experience in school leadership.
