Small but well-established CPA Firm located in Coquitlam is looking to hire a Staff Accountant to join the team. If you have a little hands-on experience and are looking to get your accounting career going, this is your opportunity.
Location: Port Coquitlam with transit access, 100% in-office
Salary range: $50,000 - $52,500 + 10% Bonus, Paid Vacation, Benefits, Tuition Support
Responsibilities:
- Audit engagements
- Review engagements
- Notice to reader engagements
- Corporate tax return preparation
- Personal tax return preparation
- Trust and estate tax return preparation
- Monthly/annual bookkeeping including payroll and any/all regulatory filings Ideal
Qualifications & Experience:
- CPA student, or student almost ready to enter the CPA program (late 4th year)
- Able to work independently or part of a team
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Organization skills including the ability to manage multiple engagements at once
- Attention to detail and critical thinking
- Strong computer skills; knowledge of Sage 50, QuickBooks, CaseWare and/or TaxPrep are an asset but not required
