Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing food items, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer transactions efficiently with proper cash handling and basic math skills
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation and service areas
- Uphold food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while managing multiple tasks effectively through good time management
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving or kitchen duties as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the field
- Familiarity with food preparation, cashiering, and serving roles is advantageous
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards consistently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Experience with upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively
