Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated CASUAL/on CALL ECE Level 2 or 3 to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of infant development, Montessori principles, and a commitment to providing a calm, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Implement age-appropriate, Montessori-inspired activities for exploration and independence.
- Provide attentive care: bottle feeding, diapering, sleep routines, and daily interactions.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate environment.
- Observe and document children’s learning and communicate with families.
- Support inclusive practices and positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- ECE Level 2 or 3 (required).
- Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Current Child Care First Aid.
- Knowledge of Alberta licensing and early learning practices.
- Montessori experience or interest is an asset.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
