We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic automotive repair team. Duties
- Repair and replace damaged vehicle panels, frames, and other structural components using appropriate techniques and tools
- Perform bodywork repairs including dent removal, sanding, filling, and painting preparation
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively to complete repairs
- Assess vehicle damage accurately to determine necessary repairs and parts replacement
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety standards are met
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and meet deadlines
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols throughout the repair process
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role; dealership experience is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Ability to perform automotive repairs with attention to detail and quality standards
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques and safety procedures
- Mechanic experience is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training or certifications are advantageous
