PCCS is a long‑standing community organization providing trauma‑informed support, crisis intervention, and advocacy for individuals impacted by gender‑based violence, mental health crises, and rural isolation. For over 30 years, we have delivered accessible, culturally responsive services across Drayton Valley, Brazeau County, and surrounding rural regions.
Position Overview
We are seeking a collaborative and strategic Executive Director to lead PCCS through a period of thoughtful growth and organizational change. This role focuses on leadership, mentorship, operational oversight, and strategic development.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Mentorship
- Provide mentorship and professional development to staff
- Foster a trauma‑informed, inclusive organizational culture
- Support board governance and development
- Act as a strategic advisor to emerging leaders
Administration & Operations
- Manage budgeting, reporting, and financial oversight
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and funder requirements
- Support grant writing and funder relations
- Strengthen administrative systems and processes
Change Management & Strategy
- Lead strategic planning and implementation
- Assess and improve organizational structures
- Guide transitions, scaling, or restructuring
- Support best practices in service delivery
- Facilitate communication during organizational change
Qualifications
- Leadership experience in the non‑profit or social‑services sector
- Strong mentorship and team‑development skills
- Experience with administration and financial oversight
- Expertise in change management and organizational development
- Understanding of trauma‑informed and equity‑based practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities

PCCS is exploring a collaborative relationship — potentially a merger — with Drayton Valley Comprehensive Family Violence. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in supporting alignment across both organizations.
