Journeyperson Carpenters
To work at our Suncor Debottleneck Project in the Fort McMurray area
SALARY: $$54.00 per hour
OVERTIME: After 8 hours in a day, or 40 hours in a week
START DATE: June 8th, 2026
SCHEDULE: 14 days on, 7 days off
HOURS PER DAY: 10 hours per day
PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
SHIFT: Dayshift
ACCOMODATIONS: Camp
DURATION: Ongoing
Working Conditions:
Full-time, Temporary

Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Journeyperson Certification from a recognized provincial training authority
- CSTS 2020 Certification
- WHMIS2015
- ESC Elevated Work Platform
- ESC Fall Protection
- CSO
- H2S Awareness
- Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
- Previous industrial construction experience is an asset
Responsibilities
- Comprehends blueprint readings to prepare layouts including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions
- Understand industrial concrete forming and engineered forming systems to accurately build concrete forms, bridges, trestles, tunnels, shelters, towers, and other structures
- Checks completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location.
- Follow oral and written directions.
- May perform other related duties as assigned
- Complete all required safety documentation
- Working at heights, in excavations and outdoors
