Vault Mental Health has three locations, one in the heart of Barrie at 134 Collier St. one in Whitby at 213 Byron St. South and in Downtown Port Hope at 11 Mill St. It is important that our clients and therapists feel "at home" when working with/at VMH. Our beautifully renovated offices are located in a space that is modern and comfortable for all.
Position available:
Vault Mental Health currently has a position available in our BARRIE location for a Registered Social Worker (RSW/MSW) or Registered Psychotherapist. Our Office is located in downtown Barrie at 134 Collier St. Please ensure you are available for in-person sessions and can reliably commute to our Barrie office before applying. This is an independent contractor position where you have the flexibility to build your caseload and availability around your schedule and/or other part time positions, for both in-person and virtual sessions. We recommend virtual sessions to be conducted from the office as well to ensure privacy and confidentiality is maintained.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Master's degree in social work from an accredited graduate program or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in the field
-Valid registration with professional college (OCSWSSW or CRPO)
-Valid liability insurance
-Superior interpersonal and communication skills
-Gottman level 1 & 2 obtained or willing to complete before starting
-Valid criminal records check and vulnerable sector screening (within the past year)
-Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
-Preference given to applicants who have experience working with clients of various ages including children, families, and first responders
