Responsibilities:
The Food and Beverage Specialist is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the food and beverage services at Waves Coffee House, and will occasionally assist with beverage and food services for catering purposes, during events of big catering orders by clients. The Food and Beverage Specialist is in charge of the product selection, pricing, product display, recipes, nutritional information and training material for the stores. They also must monitor the product quality and sales to create the most effective and profitable food and beverage program. The Food and Beverage Specialist will stay in close relationships with the vendors and the logistics company to make sure products are always available and shortage is minimal.
The Food and Beverage Specialist must have a great understanding of the market in both BC and AB to make sure that Waves is innovative and provides products that our customers enjoy. They are responsible for creating seasonal menus and drinks that will directly correlate with the Marketing Campaigns. They also must create reports reflecting the sales and profitability of all products and provide regular feedback and solutions to improve the menu.

- Communication with Vendors to revamp the menu twice a year.
- Communication with Sysco to confirm product availability and substitution as needed
- Catering Menu, pricing and Process
- Provide proper training and training materials to the stores
- Monitor Product Quality
- Product Reports to verify sales, wastage and customer satisfaction
- Create changes to the menu based on the reports
Requirements:
- Must be able to work in the office
- Good understanding of the food and beverage market
- 3-5 years of experience combined in relevant and similar roles
- Negotiation Experience
- Outstanding communication skills
Pay: $64,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
