At PTW Energy Services, safety isn't something we talk about it's something you can see on every site, every shift, in every decision made in the field.
We're not looking for someone to simply monitor compliance. We're looking for a visible, trusted field leader in safety someone who shows up where the work is happening, earns respect from crews, and helps shape how work gets done safely in real time.
As an HSE Advisor, you'll be embedded in active industrial construction environments across the Edmonton region and Northern Alberta, influencing behaviours, strengthening field execution, and being a key reason teams go home safe every day.
This is a role for someone who prefers boots on the ground over a desk, conversations over checklists, and real-world impact over paperwork.
This role is about presence, influence, and action in the field.
You will
Be a visible safety leader on active job sites across the Edmonton region and Northern Alberta (approximately 50 percent travel)
Influence how work is done safely by engaging directly with field crews, supervisors, and project leaders
Turn safety conversations into action through daily toolbox talks, field coaching, and hands-on engagement
Identify risk before it becomes an incident and work with teams to correct it immediately
Support crews in building strong, practical hazard assessments that reflect real site conditions
Be a trusted resource for supervisors when real-time decisions need a safety lens
Ensure training, certifications, and PPE are in place before work starts
Support incident prevention by staying ahead of field conditions and emerging risks
Strengthen PTW's safety culture by being consistently present, approachable, and respected on site
Maintain clear and accurate reporting that supports strong decision making
You are a field first safety professional who is comfortable in active construction environments
You build trust quickly with crews and supervisors through practical and respectful communication
You focus on solutions, not just identification of issues
You understand that strong safety culture is built through relationships and consistency
CRSP or CRST designation or actively working toward it
Strong OH&S background in industrial construction, electrical or instrumentation experience is an asset
Valid safety certifications including H2S, First Aid, CSTS, CSO or equivalent
Strong understanding of Alberta OH&S legislation
Confident working independently across multiple sites
You'll join a company where safety is actively lived on every site, not just written in procedures.
Your presence directly impacts how crews think, work, and execute safely every day.
Multiple sites, different crews, and evolving field conditions mean no two days are the same.
You'll be viewed as a key contributor to project success and field performance.
Competitive compensation based on experience
Paid training and certification support
Required PPE and field equipment provided where applicable
Health and wellness benefits where applicable
At PTW, our HSE team plays a hands-on role in how work gets done in the field. If you are a safety professional who takes pride in being present, respected, and influential on site, this is where you can make a real impact.
