Pipe Layer/Skilled Labourer - Nanaimo

Currently, we are looking to add Pipe Layers to our team for work
Pipe Layers play a crucial role in the successful completion of most projects undertaken by IWC Excavation. The successful candidates will be involved in every phase of the construction process and will be responsible for such things as pipe-laying, laser set up, grade monitoring and conformance, small tool operation, site preparation, and testing of the installed pipe.
Qualifications & Experience
- Pipe Laying/Civil Construction: 3 years MINIMUM
- Previous pipe-laying and civil construction experience is required
- Ability to properly read and understand blueprints.
- Full understanding of Water/Sanitary/Storm Main Installations
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Active listening skills.
- Ability to work as a team as well as with little supervision.
- Ability to take and follow instruction.
- Professional and courteous demeanor when dealing with the public.
