Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bar and dining spaces
- Ensure food safety standards are followed during food handling and serving processes
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar or dining area as needed
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining attentive service
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for all guests
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Basic math skills necessary for billing, making change, and managing tabs
- Experience with food industry standards, including serving alcohol responsibly when applicable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
