The ideal candidate will have experience operating production or packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment. Food manufacturing experience is preferred, but candidates from other manufacturing industries with strong mechanical aptitude
Responsibilities
- Operate production and packaging machinery safely and efficiently
- Set up, start, operate, monitor, and shut down equipment
- Perform product changeovers and machine adjustments
- Monitor product quality throughout production
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major mechanical problems
- Complete daily production records and documentation
- Follow GMP, food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
- Food manufacturing experience is an asset
- Math skills
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable with a good attendance record
- Able to work occasional overtime when required
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
