Tri Star Excavating Inc. is a local company based out of St. John's, NL. We perform a variety of work including excavation & trenching, landscaping, stonework, carpentry, concrete and asphalt work.
As a Heavy Equipment Operator with Tri Star Excavating Inc. you will be responsible for the operation of excavators, skid steer, dump truck & loader. Your job will be based outside. You must able to work as a team and independently. You will be required to have your own Personal Protective Equipment, which will include, safety boots, safety glasses, hard hat and hi-vis apparel.
Expectations & Qualifications for this role:
- The ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must be available to work anywhere from 40-60 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Have the ability to work alone or in a team
-Experience with excavation and landscaping work
- Must have a valid drivers licence, including a class 5, class 8 & class 3
- Certificates such as, standard first aid, WHMIS, trenching and excavation, traffic control, etc. will be considered an asset
- A positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
- Must be responsible, punctual and dependable
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
