They are looking for a General Manager based on Vancouver Island, BC.
The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding manufacturing, sales alignment, and organizational performance. This role oversees multiple business units and plays a key part in shaping long‑term direction, operational excellence, and market growth.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight — Lead day‑to‑day operations across several business units, ensuring smooth coordination between manufacturing and sales functions.
- Performance Management — Monitor key operational, sales, and production metrics, providing regular updates to senior stakeholders.
- Budget & Planning — Partner with executive leadership to develop and manage annual budgets for production and sales activities.
- Production Alignment — Ensure manufacturing schedules, capacity, and product availability consistently meet market and customer demand.
- Sales Leadership — Guide and evaluate sales team performance while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Inventory Management — Oversee inventory levels across all business units, including cycle counts and target‑level planning.
- Capital Planning — Lead initiatives related to capital investments and asset lifecycle decisions.
- Strategic Development — Establish goals and strategies for each business line, including growth initiatives in specialized markets.
- Organizational Structure — Shape departmental structure and senior leadership roles to build a high‑performing team.
- Lean Initiatives — Champion lean methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Financial & Market Analysis — Review financial results, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Safety & Compliance — Ensure consistent adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- External Representation — Represent the organization in negotiations, partnerships, and formal engagements.
- Continuous Improvement — Seek opportunities to enhance processes, product offerings, and customer value.
- Additional Duties — Perform other leadership responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- Background – 10+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing

Compensation:
- $150,000-190,000 annual base salary
- 20-40% bonus based on EBITDA performance against target
