Independent Dog Walker / Daycare Transport Assistant
Are you an experienced dog walker who loves working with dogs of all breeds and sizes? We're looking for a reliable, organized, and independently insured dog walker to join our team!
This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys being active, working independently, and building relationships with both dogs and their owners.
Schedule
Monday to Friday
- Morning: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Evening: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up dogs from their homes and safely transport or walk them to our daycare facility.
- Return dogs to their homes at the end of the day as needed.
- Ensure each dog is handled safely and receives attentive, compassionate care during pick-up and drop-off.
- Communicate professionally with pet owners and your manager regarding schedules and any concerns.
- Maintain punctuality and stay organized while managing multiple daily routes.
What We're Looking For
- Independent Dog Walker with valid liability insurance.
- Previous professional dog walking or animal care experience.
- Comfortable and confident handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Highly organized, dependable, and punctual.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Our service area is within a 5 km radius of our location at 56 Sherbourne St.
A reliable vehicle is preferred for efficiency, but we are also open to candidates without a vehicle, provided you are a fast walker and can consistently complete routes on time.
