We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and fleet trucks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
- Use power tools to disassemble and reassemble equipment components
- Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment such as graders, excavators, and semi trucks.
- Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities
*Skills*
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with Caterpillar equipment
- Proficiency in using power tools for repairs
- Knowledge of HVAC systems in heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Capability to diagnose and repair hydraulic systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00-$60.80 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
