Inovata Foods Corp. is looking for a part-time Maintenance Stores and Inventory Coordinator to partner with us as we bring families and friends together through offering wholesome and convenient meals. The role is located in our Edmonton, Alberta facility. Inovata Foods Corp. is a major producer of wholesome control brand frozen meals for many of North America’s largest retailers.
Position Details:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Storeroom Organization – Assess the current state of the maintenance storeroom and reorganize it into a logical, standardized layout that groups parts appropriately.
- Process Recommendations – Develop and document practical recommendations for maintaining inventory accuracy and appropriate stock levels going forward, including suggested cycle-count practices, reorder points, or labeling standards.
- Labeling – Clearly label all shelves, bins, and storage locations so that parts are easy to identify and locate at a glance.
- Physical Inventory Count – Conduct a complete, accurate count of all spare parts and materials on hand, reconciling physical stock against existing records.
- Inventory Database Update – Enter and update inventory data in the inventory database, ensuring part descriptions, quantities, locations, and identifiers are current and correct.
- Obsolete/Excess Inventory Review – Identify parts that are obsolete, excess, damaged, or no longer applicable to current equipment, and flag them for disposal, return, or further review.
- Accessibility Improvements – Reorganize storage so maintenance staff can quickly find and retrieve the parts they need, reducing search time and downtime.
Shift:
- We are hiring one part-time, contract position for a 2 month period with the possibility of extension.
- This role will have the option of working Monday - Friday, 6 hours per day or 3-4 days per week for 8 hours per day.

Requirements:
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and/or a CMMS system considered an asset
- Experience in a similar role considered an asset
