Camp Kintail is a year-round summer camp and retreat centre located along the scenic shores of Lake Huron, just 20 minutes north of Goderich. Our property welcomes guests for retreats, summer camp programs, and special events, including weddings. Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment for our guests. The position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
This role is in person and includes weekday and weekend shifts, with flexibility for part-time or full-time hours. Availability on Fridays and Sundays is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, washrooms, and common areas
- Change linens and make beds
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- During weddings and events, keep event space and bathrooms neat and tidy.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping preferred
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
