Overview
Nutritionwize Diet Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting overall bookkeeping functions alongside the Finance Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting and proficiency with various accounting software to contribute to the financial health of our organization.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including data entry and record keeping
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks to process transactions
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting tasks
- Maintain organized financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations
- Support payroll processing and related functions as needed
- Prepare reports for management review and audit purposes
Qualifications
- Experience with bookkeeping, accounting, or finance roles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of accounting principles including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and account analysis
- Experience with payroll processing is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
