Rapid Response Industrial Group Ltd. (RRIG) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee environmental and industrial service projects across Canada. The successful candidate will manage projects from initial client engagement through completion, ensuring delivery is safe, compliant, cost-effective and aligned with contractual and regulatory requirements.
This role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage environmental, industrial, emergency response, remediation, and hazardous waste projects across multiple jurisdictions
- Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets and resource allocations
- Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor project performance, including cost control, productivity, and profitability.
- Ensure all work are completed in compliance with applicable federal, provincial, and territorial legislations including occupational safety and environment regulations
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, regulators, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Prepare and review proposals, quotations, change orders, and project documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of records including field reports, waste manifest and regulatory documentation
- Participate in emergency response call-outs, which may occur outside standards business hours
- Identify opportunities for service expansion and support business development initiatives
- Promote a culture of safety, inclusion and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in environmental, industrial, emergency response, construction, hazardous waste, or related industries.
- Post-secondary education in Environmental Science, Engineering, Environmental Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and hazardous waste management within Canada
- Experience preparing estimates, proposals, and managing project budgets.
- Excellent communication skills, leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Valid driver's licence with the ability to travel as required
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is considered as asset:
- Emergency spill response
- Hazardous materials management
- Industrial cleaning
- Site remediation
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- Waste characterization and disposal
- Confined space work
- Incident command systems or emergency management

Work Conditions
· This role may require extended hours, on–call availability and travel
· Work may be performed in office, field, and emergency response environment
· Compliance with all safety protocols and use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory
