EYES BY DESIGN is currently seeking an individual who possesses a strong passion for learning and development. The successful candidate will embody EYES BY DESIGN’S mission and vision while delivering exceptional customer service through education and knowledge. This position will require a strong multi- tasking individual who also pays close attention to detail and exhibits extraordinary communication skills.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect glasses, take optical measurements and problem solve any optical issues.
Ensure accuracy in taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting all eyewear and ensuring quality control in carrying out all details
Deliver exceptional product knowledge and accurately describe key features and benefits of all frames, lenses and contact lenses to patients
Work with customers to assess and educate them on their eyewear needs while creating unique personalized experiences
Drive profitable sales by actively participating in the EYES BY DESIGN culture
Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism at all times and adhere to EYES BY DESIGN’S codes and standards of conduct
Ensure an efficient and smooth daily operation of the dispensary by following
opening and closing procedures and processing all work orders through the ordering and delivery process.
Maintain accurate and clear notes on all patient files, orders and history
Assist with administrative and operational tasks as required including but not limited to purchases, orders, managing inventory, returns, software and hardware systems, pre-testing patients when needed.
Maintain cleanliness of store with a professional presentation of displays, eyewear, shelves, mirrors, windows, restroom, furniture, equipment, floors, walls making sure it is all free from dust, fingerprints, debris and dirt

The right individual will hold a PERMANENT PART-TIME POSITION on ALL doctor days.
This position requires weekdays, evenings and Saturdays. Required days Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays. The right candidate must be able to provide possible fill-in coverage for other days or emergency coverage when needed. Min. 21 hours/week. During training period up to 35+ hours will be required to maximize training provided.
Wednesday 11am-7pm
Friday 11am-8pm
Saturday 10am-4pm
EDUCATION
High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE
Previous work experience in sales background in retail, management, fashion and/or design would be an asset. Training will be provided for the suitable candidate. Training pay will be $17.60hr.
