A welcoming, well-presented deli counter is key to creating an exceptional customer experience. As a Deli Clerk, you will play an important role in delivering outstanding service while preparing and presenting high-quality deli products that meet the standards of Pete's Frootique & Fine Foods.
In this fast-paced, customer-focused role, you will assist customers with their selections, provide knowledgeable product recommendations, and ensure the deli counter is well-stocked, fresh, and visually appealing. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation while supporting a positive and engaging shopping experience.
You will also help prepare and package deli items, rotate product to ensure freshness, and assist with merchandising. As a key part of the store team, you may be asked to support other departments as needed. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a busy environment. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
