Known for its exceptional guest experiences and authentic West Coast hospitality, we are looking for energetic, professional Bartenders to join our team for the upcoming season.
Position Overview
As a Bartender at Painter's Lodge, you will play a vital role in delivering elevated beverage service across our diverse resort outlets. This seasonal, full-time position requires a professional who is adaptable and ready to work flexible hours across our Lobby Bar, restaurant, patio service, and special banquet events. You will ensure every guest receives a premium, memorable experience through expert drink preparation and engaging service.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver exceptional, polished, and engaging guest service in accordance with luxury hospitality standards.
· Prepare and serve premium cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and specialty beverages across all resort outlets.
· Provide knowledgeable beverage recommendations and share insights into our seasonal features.
· Maintain bar setup, cleanliness, and organization to resort standards throughout your shift.
· Ensure strict compliance with BC liquor laws and responsible alcohol service practices.
· Collaborate with the Beverage Supervisor and the wider F&B team to support high-volume service and special functions.
· Accurately handle cash and POS procedures while monitoring inventory par levels.
· Assist with beverage requisitions and stock rotation to ensure freshness and quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Minimum 2–3 years of bartending experience in a premium restaurant, hotel, or resort environment.
· Valid Serving It Right Certification (British Columbia).
· Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine service, beer, and spirits.
· Flexibility: Ability to work varied hours across all resort outlets, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for guest interaction.
· Ability to remain calm, efficient, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
· Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle the demands of a busy bar environment.
