Calgary Avian & Exotic Pet Clinic is looking for a reliable, compassionate, and energetic veterinary technician assistant to join our team and help us provide the warm and welcoming environment that our patients and their families have come to appreciate from us.
The successful candidate will help our technicians with duties such as cleaning, animal handling, putting surgical packs together, and stocking inventory, as well as performing reception duties including answering the phone, booking appointments, checking patients in, and completing financial transactions. Training will be provided by our kind and professional team of technicians, assistants, and receptionists.
Our clinic is dedicated exclusively to the care of exotic pets so candidates should be comfortable with a variety of animals including birds and reptiles. We offer a competitive salary, uniform allowance, and discounts on pet food and veterinary services.
