Qualifications:
- One year experience in a busy community dispensary
- Team oriented individual who is hard working, reliable and has excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 15lbs and stand on your feet up to 10 hours per day
Duties to include:
- Quickly and accurately answering phones and in store patient requests
- Entering prescriptions efficiently and accurately
- Preparation and packaging of prescription drugs including compounds and methadone
- Operation of cash register
- Ensuring Occupational Health and Safety protocols are followed at all times
- Supporting other dispensary employees to ensure work demands are being met
- Putting away replenishment orders
- Maintaining suitable stock levels of daily supplies
This is a full time permanent position (33-40 hours per week) that will include day, evening, weekend and holiday hours. A competitive benefit package will be offered including medical and dental insurance, life insurance, matching GRSP and paid sick days. Wage will be dependent on past experience.
