This part-time administrative position is for someone with prior administrative experience in Dentistry.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
-Check patients in and out and submit insurance claims
-The right candidate enjoys chatting with patients to make them feel comfortable and will explain procedures and insurance claims to them.
-Perform day end and month end reports that are submitted to the dentist.
-The candidate we are looking for holds an RDA license and can fill in as an assistant when needed but the main role is administrative.
Skills:
Strong communications skills (written and verbal) will be required as well as attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Our team is supportive and interactive so the right candidate needs to work well in a team environment and enjoy collaborating with their teammates. Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is critical.
As a dental administrator, you will play a crucial role in assisting the patients with any questions about root canal treatment, root canal surgery or questions pertaining to their dental insurance. This role is for an outgoing personality that truly enjoys interacting with patients as your main role is to support the patients in obtaining the dental treatment they need.
The ideal candidate will possess an RDA 2 license and can step in to fill in when other assistants take holidays or need a day off for illness, etc. Please note that the assistant role is secondary to the main role of administrator.
Any knowledge of endodontics will be valuable in assisting with procedures. We are a paperless office so strong computer skills will be required. Pay: $26.00-$38.00 per hour
