Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial for modular buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
- Utilize hand tools and welding equipment to carry out repairs and installations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters to ensure comprehensive project completion.
- Adhere to safety regulations and building codes while performing all plumbing tasks.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks associated with transporting materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions for installations.
- Experience in commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting tools and materials.
- Ability to build rapport with clients through effective communication and customer service skills.
