We are looking for a skilled Drywall Installer and Finisher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing drywall panels, taping, mudding, sanding, and preparing surfaces for painting in residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings
- Secure drywall to wooden or metal studs using screws or nails
- Tape drywall joints and apply joint compound (mudding)
- Sand and smooth drywall surfaces to create a paint-ready finish
- Install corner beads and finishing trim
- Repair damaged drywall including cracks, holes, or water damage
- Follow blueprints, drawings, and supervisor instructions
- Maintain tools and keep job sites clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a drywall installer and finisher
- Ability to measure, cut, and fit drywall accurately
- Experience with taping, mudding, and sanding techniques
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of drywall experience
- Experience in residential or commercial construction
