Maple Downs Golf & Country Club is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our Golf Course Maintenance Team for the 2026 season. We currently have immediate openings available and are looking for candidates who can commit to early morning shifts, including weekdays and weekends, through at least November 1. Scheduling flexibility may be available based on individual circumstances and operational requirements.
Position Overview
As a member of the Golf Course Maintenance Department, you will contribute to the daily care and presentation of the golf course and club grounds. This role plays an important part in ensuring the course is maintained to the high standards expected by our membership and guests.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform mowing and maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, and rough areas
- Rake, prepare, and maintain bunkers
- Operate a variety of turf maintenance equipment and hand-operated tools
- Assist with additional groundskeeping and course maintenance projects as assigned
Work Schedule
This is a seasonal position expected to continue through November, weather permitting.
Typical working hours include:
- Monday to Thursday: 5:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
- Friday: 5:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
- Alternating weekends: 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Additional hours may be available during peak periods, tournaments, or special events.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be capable of performing physically demanding outdoor work, including:
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Frequent bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting
- Safely operating equipment requiring good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
Working Environment
This position is primarily outdoors and requires working in a variety of weather conditions, including rain, wind, heat, and cooler autumn temperatures. Employees regularly work around maintenance equipment and machinery in an active golf course setting.

Previous experience in golf course maintenance, landscaping, or a related field is considered an asset but is not required.
