Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory levels are maintained
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Background in serving or supporting food service operations is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
