UX/UI Designer:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a UX/UI Designer for a 12 month contract. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary or Edmonton office.
UX/UI Designer - Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to lead the design and delivery of user-centred, visually compelling digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. The successful candidate will work on translating business requirements into effective digital solutions, contributing to both the design and front-end execution.
UX/UI Designer - Responsibilities:
- Translate business and user requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
- Apply user-centered design principles to develop effective and intuitive solutions
- Conduct and support usability testing and validation activities
- Design high-quality, visually consistent interfaces aligned with client brand standards
- Develop high-fidelity designs with strong attention to layout, typography, colour, and hierarchy
- Translate approved designs into responsive, functional digital experiences using Webflow or similar platforms
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical feasibility, performance, and scalability
UX/UI Designer - Mandatory Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or digital product design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design and high-quality visual design execution
- Advanced proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma)
- Experience working with Webflow (preferred) or comparable front-end/CMS platforms
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and usability principles
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
UX/UI Designer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS platforms
- Experience designing for ecommerce or customer-facing digital products
- Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems
