Summary of Role
Reporting to our Clubhouse Housekeeping Supervisor and Executive Assistant, you will work with a small-but-mighty Clubhouse/Housekeeping team that keeps our unique and historical Clubhouse, locker rooms, and staff/guest areas spotless and inviting throughout the golf season. This role is essential in creating a beautiful atmosphere for our Members while ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are upheld. Duties
- Clean and service Member areas, locker rooms, washrooms, offices, and staff spaces to club standards (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying garbage).
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces, restock toiletries and supplies, and ensure all areas are neat and presentable.
- Work cooperatively with the clubhouse, turf, and food & beverage teams to support events, busy days, and special projects as needed.
- Respond to member and guest requests for extra supplies in a friendly, professional manner.
- Follow all health and safety, WHMIS, and club cleanliness protocols to ensure a safe work environment (training provided).
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items promptly to your supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or resort/hotel cleaning experience is an asset but not required; full training is provided.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting up to 25–30 lbs, working with cleaning equipment) for the majority of the shift.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays during peak season.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude, discretion, and professionalism when working around Members and Guests.
- Have reliable transportation to our Ferry at 1137 Old Hwy 117, Baysville
Job Type: Hourly wages, Part or Full-time Seasonal Contract
Expected hours: Flexible ~26-44 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible. May to October (weekdays and weekends, holidays may be required in peak season). Peak season is July & August.
Compensation: $18-$22 per hour based on experience
