Job Summary
We are a community multidisciplinary clinic that has been operating in North York since 1997. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, develop individualized treatment plans, and support recovery and rehabilitation across diverse patient populations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your expertise to improve patients' quality of life through evidence-based physiotherapy practices. We see patients through WSIB, MVA, and private insurance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall function.
- Administer therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management techniques, and home exercises.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advances in physiotherapy techniques and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Registered Physiotherapist
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and medical terminology is essential.
- Prior experience in handling WSIB patients, MVA patients, and diverse cases requiring tailored physiotherapy interventions is advantageous.
Availability required:
Monday 9am-7pm
Wednesday 9am-7pm
Friday 9am-1pm
This position requires a compassionate approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
