Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and certified Licensed Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and diagnostics of vehicles using schematics and mechanical knowledge
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models, including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs effectively
- Interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to accurately diagnose issues
- Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks required for vehicle repair and maintenance
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs and recommendations clearly to clients
Experience
- Demonstrating familiarity with automotive systems and repair procedures
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair techniques
- Hands-on experience with welding, schematics interpretation, assembly, and maintenance tasks
- Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently
- Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with vehicle repair
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, engine diagnostics, and mechanical troubleshooting is essential
- Prior experience working in a customer-focused environment is advantageous
