Overview
We are seeking a qualified Class 5 Heavy Endorsement Driver or Class 3 Driver to join our team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with heavy lifting, and a commitment to safety and reliability. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a valid commercial driver’s license to contribute to our logistics operations while maintaining high standards of service.
Duties
- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks with Class 5 Heavy Endorsement or Class 3 license to deliver goods to various locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, often involving heavy lifting, ensuring proper handling and securement of items.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during routes.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Experience
- Valid Class 5 Heavy Endorsement or Class 3 commercial driver’s license required.
- Proven experience operating heavy-duty vehicles in a commercial setting preferred.
- Experience with heavy lifting and cargo handling is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to drive safely over long distances and navigate various routes efficiently.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards.
