Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves assisting with a solar project in Pitt Meadows, BC. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in paving (concrete work), and general construction is required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the solar industry and develop valuable skills.
Duties
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Assist in excavation process
- Help with paving operations by pouring and finishing concrete as directed
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Assist in setting up solar panels on existing structure
- Perform general labor tasks including basic hand-tool work, lifting heavy materials, and maintaining site cleanliness
Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding labor tasks throughout the workday
- Experience with pouring and finishing concrete is required
- Basic understanding of construction processes and safety procedure
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and reliability in adhering to safety guidelines

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
